Let us be honest.

How many of you have ever protested Kashmir for Kashmiris?

Then why everyone is protesting Maharashtra for Marathis?

Both are of same kind, and both should be deplored. And at the same time dont unite as Biharis, UPwallah, or Bhojpuriha to fight this menace. Need of the hour is a nationalist flavour. We Bhojpurihas have never been secterians. We have alaways thought of the nation first. Let us keep our moral high.

Some mawalis should not be allowed to convert us into a sectarian mob.
Let us each and every part of our mother nation belongs to everyone. At the same time just think over it in a cool way. What Raj Thakrey said was that everyone should love Maharashtra and try to learn Marathi, if he or she earns his/her livelyhood from Maharashtra. Will you respect someone who speaks in Telugu Marathi or Kannad while doing business at Ara, Chapra, Ballia, Deoria etc.?

These Laloo, Ramvilas, and Mulayam sort of politicians thrive on divisive politics. They have never supported, and will never support a nationalist view. They think in terms of casts and communities. Such people are making a hue and cry over Raj Thakre statement. Have they ever criticised Imam Bukhari, of Kashmiri jehadis, or Bangladeshi infiltrators?

So dont follow these communal politicians.

Monday, 21st January 2008, saw a mayhem at Mumbai share market.
So what?
It was bound to happen!
The way investors were becoming reckless, it was bound to happen.
So what?
Share markets have a tendency of falling before rising again, and of rising before falling again! It is a see saw game. Play if you must, but after you have known what can be known legitimely about the company. Invest and decide your plan. Then keep off! Investor always wins, speculator wins sometime and looses many timex. So dont speculate, invest! And, you will be never sorry.
Market will rise again. Have patience, Dont loose heart. Keep off the tips and advisors. It is your money, so use your own mind.
Some times being contrarion pays. While usually you should move with the market.
Is it a little bit confusing?
So what?
Use your own brain!

दरपन झूठ ना बोले......

A website owner objected on my references to a site in the context of popularity. I promptly apologised. But he was not satisfied. He then asked me to remove all references to that site from my website.

Okay sir, feel happy. I removed all the references.

Today I am going to educate my visitors about the ranking business.

Rankings for a website have the same value circulation figures have for print media. Very often there is war of words with the quoted figures. You dispute it when they go against you. Fortunately there are lots and lots of ranking businesses on the net and they do their job in their own way. Some are good, some not so good.

So let us see where the differences arise:

Hits or visits are described by each ranking site or webanalyser in its own way and there is no uniform definition.

Some treat every call to the hosting server as a hit or visit. And some times there are hundreds of call on a single page!

Some treat each call to the server for all the pages visited as separate hits, further inflating the figures.

Whereas some treat a visit a single visit for all the pages visited within a specified time. Here the hits figure suddenly comes below!

Again there are disputes on the issue of visits and visitors. When someone visits a site at one go it is called one visit. If after a gap of some specified time that someone visits again it is called another visit. But the visitor is the same! So number of visitors is always lower than the number of visits.

Further complicating the process is the question of Absolutely Uique Visitors or People count. Absolutely Unique visitor is one visitor irrespective of how many times that visitor visits that site in agiven month! Naturally, Absolute Unique Visitors or the People Count is always lower than the number of visitors.

To give you an example for my own site, Anjoria.com, I am quoting data from Google Analytics.

For the last thirty days, i.e from 28th Nov 2007 to 28th Dec 2007 it was visited 1557 times by only 897 visitors. So the number of my vistors is only 897.

Of this many are bouncers, they come to my site by mistake and rapidly go away or do not open another page as they do not find anything interesting! So the real figure comes down again! During this period bounce rate was about 36%. So more than one third of my visitors go away without having a look on my site. This take the number of Absolute Unique Visitors to about 600. So only 600 people spread in the whole world visit Anjoria.com in a month and I have a position! Shame on me!

As I dont have money to pay for these services, the data is limited to 200 visits only.

But then Anjoria is a small fry of the Bhojpuri world any one can crush it anyday with his might. Who says might is not right!

Explanations:

The rankings are based on data obtained by Alexa from the uses patterns of those visitors it tracks.
This is not an exclusive list. There are several other sites of Bhojpuri.
Some sites are not represented on all the three dates, because they were added late in this study.
This comparison includes the duration of durga Puja and the week prior to Deepawali when many Bhojpurias go back to their homes in the hinterland where browsing is difficult.
There are crores of websites and these are just a guessestimate, because Alexa says that the data for those websites who are below 100,000 mark is just an indiaction.
No Bhojpuri website is at present in the below 100,000 mark level. Some months back Bhojpuria.com was at that pedestal. Bhojpuria.com has been maintaining its premier postion since its beginning and still commands the top position.
Anjoria.com despite being the First Website in Bhojpuri was lagging behind many others but has recently jumped the que and is making continued progress on the ranking chart, mainly because of its regular updating and a mix of articles catering to all tastes. The biggest handicapp of Anjoria seems to be lack of infrastructure, no technical knowlege, lack of media publicity, and perhaps all due to lack of finances.

जे चपरासियो बने लायक नईखे से मैनेजर के नौकरी खोजत बा. जे क्लर्को बने लायक से आईएएस के कम्पीटीशन में भाग लेत बा. जे सिपाहियो लायक नईखे से आईपीएस बने के सपना देखत बा. सपना देखे में कवनो हरजा नईखे. जवन सपना मन करे तवन देखीं. बाकिर बाद में ओह सपना के पूरा करे खातिर जवन लगन आ मेहनत जरूरी बा तवन कर के देखाईं.

आजु तकले भारत के हालत गाँव के छँटुआ के तरह रहल हऽ जेकरा से केहू रोटी पानी के संबंध ना राखे.

भारत सबका के ठेंगा देखावत आपन परमाणु कार्यक्रम चलावत रहल हऽ १९७४ में इन्दिरा गाँधी आ १९९८ में अटल बिहारी बाजपेयी सरकार पोखरण में अणुबम विस्फोट करि के पुरा दुनिया में अपना आणविक ताकत आ सोचि के प्रदर्शन कईले रहुवे. अटल बिहारी सरकार के परमाणु विस्फोट के तऽ अमेरिका के भनको ना मिल पावल रहुवे. ओकरा बाद पूरा संसार के आणविक शक्ति सम्पन्न देश भारत का खिलाफ प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिहलें. भारत सरकार प्रतिबन्ध से तनिको ना घबड़ाईल आ दुनिया के देखा दिहलसि कि भारत आपन सुरक्षा का सवाल पर हर बन्दिश से टकराये के ताकत राखेला. बाद में धीरे धीरे पूरा दुनिया, चीन आ पाकिस्तान छोड़ के, आ चीन के मानसपुत्र भारत के कम्यूनिष्टन के छोड़ि के, मान गइल कि भारत पर प्रतिबन्ध से ना समझौता करिके रहल नीक रही. बाजपेयी सरकार अमेरिका का संगे असैनिक परमाणु समझौता का तरफ पहिलका कदम उठवलसि जवना के बाद में मनमोहन सरकार परिणति पर चहुँपवलसि. भाजपा के खुन्नस बा कि ओकरा इ मौका ना मिल पावल. एहीसे ऊ एह समझौता में खोट खोज रहल बा. कम्यूनिष्ट तऽ वईसहूं चीन में बईठल अपना आका लोग का कहला पर चलेलें, देश हितपर सोचि के ना. एह समझौता से चीन के परेशानी ढेर बढ़ि गईल बा आ एहिसे अपना देश के कम्यूनिष्ट एह समझौता के रद्द करावे पर भिड़ल बाड़न.

४. दुनू पार्टी कवनो बहाना खोज लेसु आ एगो कमेटी बना देसु जवन पूरा मामिला पर फेर से विचार करो. बाकिर करार पर काम अपना रफ्तार पर चलत रहो.
५. हर हालत में संप्रग के दुर्गति तय बाटे.

कांग्रेस तनिको ना चाही कि सरकार जाव. हो सकेला कि ऊ मनमोहन सिंह के बलि दे देव ताकि कम्युनिष्टवा खुश हो जा सऽ. हो सकेला कि एही बहाने सोनिया अपने पीएम बन जासु.

आज भोजपुरी के कई गो वेबसाईट बाड़ी सऽ. कुछ बहुत बढ़िया, कुछ कामचलाऊ, कुछ सब छँवड़ी झूमर पाड़े तऽ लंगड़ी कहे हमहूं वाला अन्दाज में.
अधिकतर वेबसाइट नियमित रुप से अपडेट नइखी होखत सऽ. कारण कि भोजपुरी में लिखे वाला लोग इण्टरनेट पर ना आवे, आ जे आवेला ऊ लिखत नइखे.
आज जमाना तेजी से बदलल बा. भोजपुरी भाषा भा जुबान आजु व्यापारिक फायदा के जुबान बन गईल बा. भोजपुरी सिनेमा के सफलता से एगो नया प्रवाह बहे लागल बा भोजपुरी का तरफ.
भोजपुरी के टीवी चैनलन के दौड़ो बस अब शुरु भईल कि तब वाला स्टेज में चहुँप गईल बा. बड़का बड़का लोग अब भोजपुरी खातिर पईसा लगावे के तैयार लउकत बाड़न.
तबहियों भोजपुरी भाषा आ संस्कृति खातिर समर्पित कुछ लोगन के जरूरत बा जे आपन खा के, आपन लगा के, स्वान्तः सुखाय भोजपुरी का सेवा में लागल रहो.
हम ढेर तऽ कुछ ना कह सकीं बाकिर जहाँ तक हो सकी हम भोजपुरी में लिखे वाला लोग के मार्ग दर्शन करे खातिर तईयार बानीं. भोजपुरी में लोखल बड़ा आसान बा. बस आपन हिचक तूड़ीं. की बोर्ड पर बईठीं. कुछ जरूरी साफ्टवेयर लोड करीं आ बस आपन ब्लाग शुरू कर दीं.

एने कुछ दिन से हम अँजोरिया के रूप बदले के कोसिश कइले बानी. रुप का संगे संगे गुणो में बदलाव ले आवे के योजना बाटे.
